Richard (Rick) William Stiffler entered his eternal rest on 28 February 2024, at his home in Altus, Oklahoma surrounded by his family, after a brave fight against cancer for the past 20 months.

Rick was born May 20, 1959, to Harold Kenneth Stiffler and Marie Elizabeth (Marino) Petrone in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.

After Rick graduated Hampton High School, he joined the United States Air Force and served our country for 4 years as a medical supply technician. Rick was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, where he served as a lector. Rick loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Penguins anytime they were on tv. He also had a great love for music, of all kinds. But his greatest love were his children and grandchildren. Rick was blessed with a large and loving family. He met his wife to be, Linda, in Altus, OK. They were engaged and married on February 14, 1986. They were married for 7 years but remained lifelong friends and were blessed with a wonderful son, Joey.

Rick is survived by three children: Richard Joseph Stiffler (Kloe), Jimmy Moncada (Elizabeth), and Shannon Antonellis (Lou), grand-children; Alexander Stiffler, Samuel Stiffler, Oliver Stiffler, Anthony Moncada, Joshua Moncada, Isabella Antonellis-Brazel (Charles), and Lola Antonellis all of Altus, great-granddaughter; Lucia Brazel, brother; James Stiffler of California; sisters-in-law Amanda McLaughlin-Stiffler of Ohio, Susan Smith, Virginia Frey, of Altus, and Rosemary Harmon (Martin) of Arizona, brother-inlaw; Arthur Smith, nieces; Jillian (James) Stiffler, Aubrey (Kyle) Lancom, both of California, Jackie Johnson (Tim Hall), Lupe Johnson, Desiree Harmon Colon (Jamie), all of Altus. Nephews, Stuart Smith (Allison), Christopher Rinchich (Jessica). Great friends, Linda and Anthony Mutchler, and James and Guadalupe Harrison of Altus, and a number of great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Harold Stiffler and Marie Marino-Petrone, brothers Kenneth and John Stiffler, fatherin- law Santiago (Jim) Roblez, nephew Phillip Rinchich, and granddaughter Jaslyn Moncada.

There will be a Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7pm, Friday May 10, 2024 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1500 Falcon Rd, Altus, Ok 73521. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Price of Peace Catholic Church on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 10am. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery.
