Funeral services for Gayla Ann Jackson, 45, of Pauls Valley, will be held at the Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel in Lone Wolf on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Bro. Allen Caroll officiating. Burial will be at the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America at mymsaa.org. Gayla Ann Jackson was born to Gaylord Inks and Donna Aebishcher in Mangum on Nov. 14, 1967, and departed this life in Elmore City on March 31, 2013.
Gayla grew up in Granite and attended Granite High School before receiving her GED and later attended Nursing School to become and LPN. She married Dale Jackson on April 3 1987 in Electra, Texas, and they made their home in Granite. She later made her home in the Pauls Valley area. She was a tough person with a strong will that always smiled regardless of what she was going through with MS. She always placed her familys needs and others above herself. She enjoyed to fish, camp, the races, football, TV shows and after being diagnosed with MS enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends with Facebook. She was a member of the Satter White Missionary Baptist Church in Satter White, Oklahoma.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Jackson of Blair; a son, Jayson White and fianc Brandy Boude of Eufaula; a daughter, Alicia and husband Dusty Busey of Elmore City; her father, Gaylord Inks and wife Jean of Vernon, Texas; her mother, Donna Inks of Granite; a sister, Ginger Inks of Granite; a stepsister, Tammy and husband Jeff Bryant of Vernon; eight grandchildren, Jackson, Justin, Jordan, Jaidyn, Jacob, Jason, Colby and Caleb and many other relatives and friends.
