The heart of our family, Mickey Dennis Moistner, went to meet Jesus on April 29, 2013, at the age of 44. Mickey was a kind gentle soul. He would give a stranger the shirt off his back if they needed it. He was the biggest romantic. He enjoyed coaching baseball and soccer. He was wonderful with kids. He enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the Southern Vending Traveling Pool League. He loved riding his motorcycle. He was multi-talented and held various occupations through the years, but he followed in his dads footsteps and went into the food industry. He was a loving father, brother, son and loyal friend.

Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Leroy Moistner; a brother, Lavern (Sonny) Bahl; and his maternal grandparents, Cleo and Hazel (Townsend) Edington. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Opal (Deere) Moistner.

He is survived by his loving mother, Beverly Carter and husband Stan of Salt Lake City, Utah; his two children, daughter, Kimberely Nicole Moistner of Borger, Texas, and son, Mickey Dennis Moistner, Jr., stationed at the Naval Submarine School in Groton, Conn.; brothers, Elijah Moistner of Ardmore, and Michael Moistner of Joplin, Mo.; sisters, Jolene Bahl Whitaker and Brenda Bahl Kowallis, both of Salt Lake City, Danita Moistner Gilliam and husband Kevin of Altus, Michelle and Angela Moistner of Lakeland, Fla., Colleen Moistner of Davis, Lisa Moistner of Oklahoma City, Danelle Moistner of Davis, and Kathleen and Kristen Moistner of Joplin, Mo.; his caring stepmother, Caren Manweiler Moistner of Lakewood, Colo.; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends who were truly blessed to have been a part of Mickeys life.
