Construction in full swing

August 1, 2013

A temporary three-way intersection has been constructed at the intersection of N. Park Lane and Falcon Road. Concrete barriers are in place to restrict drivers to one lane of traffic in each direction. Traffic signals allow for one lane of vehicles to pass through the intersection at a time.

ODOT Resident Engineer Will Nedbalek asks drivers to take extra precautions and slow down and read the signs during construction. Contractors are building a four-lane road from Falcon to Tamarack, and are also rebuilding the roadway box underneath N. Park Lane.

The project, awarded to Duit Const. Co, Inc./ TTK Const. Co. of Edmond, will also include intersection modifications and street signals at Falcon and N. Park Lane. In total, the project costs $4,671,931.62 and could take up to 240 days to completion.
