Hazard mitigation plan to be discussed

August 3, 2013

The Jackson County Commissioners will discuss a hazard mitigation plan during their regular meeting to be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, in the Commissioners office of the Courthouse. Representatives from South Western Oklahoma Development Authority (SWODA) will be present for the discussion.

Commissioners will also consider 12-month bridge inspections for Districts 1, 2, and 3, by Circuit Engineering District (CED) #7 and to execute any documents pertaining to such.

Other items to be considered include action on a transfer of appropriations within the Drug Court Fund, and a temporary transfer of funds from Sheriff’s General Reserve account to Sales Tax Revolving to cover Sheriff’s payroll until excess sales tax is returned from bondholder.

Commissioners will approve minutes from the last meeting, reports and officer reports, and blanket purchase orders before voting on supplemental appropriations for the month of July.

After new business and approval of claims the meeting will adjourn.
