New reading program offered in Altus Schools

August 16, 2013

Altus Elementary Schools are embarking on a new reading adventure this school year. Love.Read.Learn! is a dynamic, fun and free program designed to guide parents in ways to help their children learn to read. During a one hour workshop, trainers will introduce parents to easy activities that integrate five key research-based skills. These activities are quick, easy and fun. The Dollar General Literacy Foundation generously underwrites the Love.Read.Learn! program, which is managed by the Volunteer USA Foundation/Barbara Busch Foundation for Family Literacy.
