Attention all Altus dog owners! There is an “Altus Family Dog Show” set for Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. (registration at 12:30 p.m.), at the Altus Community Center as part of an Eagle Scout Project. Categories include smallest dog, largest dog, best dressed dog, most unique dog, pet and owner look alike, and cutest dog.
The entrance fee for the dog show will be a minimum of one acceptable donation to be collected for Altus Animal Control to include: bleach, kitty litter, laundry soap, dryer sheets, leashes and collars, flea treatments, trash bags, dry dog food, cat food, and bottled water.
For each individual donation brought, the donor will be given a ticket for a the door prize raffle.
Warning: Do not bring dogs that have history of behavior problems around other dogs. Aggressive dogs will not be tolerated. Owners must present a shot record for their dog at registration.
