The 6th annual Blair Bluegrass Festival will be held Oct. 24-26 at the Blair City Park. The festival will be held rain or shine, indoors. Featured bands include Triple L Band from Portales, N.M., the Batten Family of Lubbock, Texas, Hanks & Company from Seymour, Texas, Copper Canyon of Lewisville, Texas, and Blocker-Stephens from Seminole.
The event, sponsored by the Blair Volunteer Fire Association, offers great entertainment for the whole family. There will be lots of jamming, fantastic food provided by the Blair Volunteer Fire Department, a Gospel Show on Thursday night, and more.
Show times on Thursday are from 6 to 10 p.m., Friday is 5 to 10 p.m., and Saturday is noon until 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday admission is only $10, Saturday admission is $15, or a three-day pass is just $30. Kids 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
To better enjoy your experience, be sure and bring a lawn chair. No alcoholic beverages or drugs are allowed.
