Commissioners to consider bid on property in Commissioner sale

The Jackson County Commissioners will hold their regular meeting at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, in the Commissioners office of the County Courthouse to discuss items in the agenda.

After Commissioners approve last meeting’s minutes, reports, officer reports, and blanket purchase orders, they will consider to approve a bid offer for Commissioner Sale by Jackson County Treasurer, Renee Howard, on property acquired at resale located at 604 W. Walnut.

Commissioners will also discuss possible action on Jackson County Six-Month Bridge Safety Inspection and acknowledgment of bridge closure and temporary structure being installed, and execute all documents pertaining to such. No action will be taken on this item, per District #3 Commissioner Cary Carrell, and will likely be resubmitted with additional information for the following week’s regular meeting.

They will also consider a contract between Jackson County Commissioners and Peggy Edwards to pile debris on property in consideration for cleaning out a fence line in Section 4, Township 3N, Range 20 WIM.

After discussion of new business and approval of of claims, the meeting will adjourn.
