Race drivers from across the U.S. are preparing for a two hour “off road” endurance race, Buzz to the Red Dawg, a two day event that finishes in the Coppermines Off Road Park in Jackson County.
There will be five race classes for competitors entering highly modified race cars, motorcycles, and unlimited style rigs.

After the race, there will be an award ceremony and a concert featuring Mike McClure of Ardmore, a “red dirt” county singer. This is one weekend off-road enthusiasts do not want to miss.
Buzz to the Red Dawg is a qualifying event for Will be qualifying event for five spots in the 2014 Griffin Radiator King of the Hammers to be held in February in Johnson Valley, California. This race is the largest one day races in the world and is a “bucket list” for many.
