Duke to hold Holiday Festival Nov. 30

The nearby town of Duke will be holding a Holiday Festival on Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in their downtown area.

Duke will start the day off with a 5K Fun Run and 1 Mile Walk beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will start from the Duke School parking lot.

The Duke traditional Christmas Parade will start at 1 p.m. There will be over 20 different vendors set up in Duke that day and Santa will be on hand to meet the kids. There will also be bounce houses for the kids to play on, safety kits offered by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, cash drawings, concessions with a hot lunch and homemade snacks, and there will even be a Classic Car and Tractor Show that day.
