Lady Bulldogs drop one to Elk City

January 8, 2014

Cold shooting and too many turnovers plagued the Altus High Lady Bulldogs in their game with Elk City here on Tuesday night. When it was over the Elkettes walked away with a 38-29 victory.
Elk City had 15-12 halftime lead, and the visitors quickly upped that lead to 10 points early in the third quarter.
Altus was never able to get anything consistently on offense.
Kiandra Knight and Carsyn King led the Lady Bulldogs with eight points each.

Altus is 2-5 on the season. They will open play Thursday in the Anadarko Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs first round opponent is Ardmore at 4:40 p.m.
