The Salvation Army of Altus, serving Jackson and Greer Counties, will be hosting its fourth annual golf tournament this summer. The net proceeds from the tournament will benefit The Salvation Army’s Soup Kitchen & food pantry and ongoing Social Service programs.
The 4-person team scramble will award prizes for closest to pin, longest drive and putt. There will also be a silent auction.
The event will be held at Quartz Mountain Golf Club on Saturday morning, July 12. Shotgun Start at 8 a.m.
The Salvation Army serves over 4,000 meals annually through the soup kitchen at no cost to people that would go hungry otherwise. Your participation is requested and encouraged. It is only through the public’s support that The Salvation Army is able to provide assistance to those in need. Levels of sponsorship include Gift-Only, Hole Sponsor, Hole & Team sponsor, Corporate Sponsor, and Event Sponsor. Entry fees include green fee, cart, gift bag, and lunch during awards ceremony.

The Salvation Army has been serving Greer and Jackson County for over 60 years. The Salvation Army provides food for the hungry, clothing for the less fortunate, relief for disaster victims, assistance to the disabled, toys for children at Christmas, and opportunities for low-income children to attend camp and other youth programs.
