The Lady Bulldogs stumbled a few times to start the season by splitting with Noble, then losing to Lawton Mac and Duncan to put them at 1-3 on the year.

The girls played better ball in both games against Del City on Tuesday and won in convincing fashion. Outscoring Del City 14-4 and 11-1, the softballers put big offense alongside a dominant pitching performance by Tessa Duncan who picked up the win in both games.

Vanessa Molina made the biggest noise at the plate in the first game going 3-4 with 3 RBI’s. Somer Sturdevant, Bailey Dickson, Alexis Williams and Tessa Duncan added 2 hits each.

Ashlee Baker collected 5 RBI’s on a 2-4 effort in the second game. Carsyn King and Dickson also claimed 2 hits each.

The AHS Lady Bulldogs will travel today and tomorrow for the El Reno Tournament.
