The postmaster at Blair, Brent Cofield, lost his house and all belongings last week in a fire near Elmer.

There will be a fundraiser dinner and shower March 2 in the Blair School cafeteria. A meal of barbeque brisket and pork, beans, potato salad and dessert will be served. Cost of the meal will be donations.

The meal will be prepared by Rick and Imogene Cargal and Jerry Brooks of The All American Restaurant.

Along with the meal there will be a shower to help the family set up a household. New or used items would be appreciated. If you have items that you want to donate bring them by Blair School or call 480-5692; 481-4363, or 563-2632.

Serving will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Clothing sizes are mens 11 or 11 1/2 shoes, 40 x 30 pants, and extra large shirts, womens 8 shoe, 16 or 18 pants and extra large tops.

A fund has been set up at Peoples State Bank in Blair for the Cofield family.
