The Shortgrass Institute will be hosting a Figure Drawing class for adults at the Altus Public Library with Jill Anderson as the instructor. The class will be held Aug. 23, 24, and 26, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 6 to 9 p.m., each evening. The cost of the class is $30 and all materials will be provided. The class is for anyone 16 and older with in an interest in figure drawing.

Jill will have those attending the class learn and practice gesture drawings and focus on how to draw the human figure. The medium Jill will be using will primarily be charcoal and pastels.

The class is very limited so if you want to be a part of this fun and educational class call the Altus Public Library now to reserve one of the ten spaces available.
