In recent weeks, more than 15 trailers have been stolen in Southwest Oklahoma, and local authorities have asked the public to help get them back to their rightful owners.

The man accused in the thefts is said to have stolen the trailers and then sold them cheaply on the internet site Craigslist. Although Greer County Undersheriff Shawn Laughlin said that charges are being prepared against the suspect in Jackson, Beckham, Custer, Kiowa, Greer and Washita Counties, two others have been arrested in connection with the crimes. Brett Remmelsberger and Jeramiah Manitz have been arrested, and an ongoing investigation into the thefts continues. To date, only three of the stolen trailers have been recovered.
