Altus High School graduate Pfc. Kendall R. Holt recently graduated with honors from the Army’s 128th Aviation Brigade’s Transportation School at Fort Eustis, Virginia.
Holt was a member of the 1st Battalion, 222nd Aviation Regiment, which is the student unit with the mission of shaping soldiers into members of the aviation branch through the lessons of army values, aviation safety, warrior tasks, battle drills, and a solid physical training program.
He graduated from the CH-47 Chinook cargo helicopter repairer class as the distinguished honor graduate. Holt will be assigned to 2nd Battalion, 149 General Support Aviation Brigade, an Army National Guard unit in Lexington as a Chinook helicopter repairman.
Welcome and honors were also extended to Holt’s uncle retired Army General Kenneth Dohleman who attended the graduation from North Carolina.
Holt’s parents are Kenny and Lori Holt of Blair and Amy and Terry Schaub of Billings, Montana. Grandparents are Ken and Roberta Holt of Blair. His aunt is Debbie Holt, also of Blair. All were in attendance at the graduation in Virginia.
He is a 2009 graduate of Altus High School and a 2010 graduate in Automotive Technology from Lincoln College of Technology in Fort Worth, Texas. He is currently works at Western Equipment in Altus.
