A personal injury accident happened Sunday at 2:37 p.m. on CR 1880, 3/10 of a mile north of CR 1580 in Greer County.
According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway patrol, Fancisco Quinto-Canseca of Altus was driving a 2000 Ford F250 when he left the road to the right, over corrected, and rolled one one half time, coming to rest on the roof of the vehicle. Cause of the accident was determined to be unsafe speed for conditons.
Quinto-Canseca was taken by Jackson County EMS to Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was later transferred to Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in fair condition with head injuries. There were no passengers in the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved.
Seat belts were equipped, but not in use. Airbags were equipped, but did not deploy.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Jeff Fielder and was assisted by Trooper Kyle Shaw, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Jackson County EMS.
