Conner re-appointed board member of the Friendship County Fire Department


The Jackson County Commissioners held a regular meeting Monday, June 8, 2015. Commissioners approved the re-appointment of Marvin Conner to serve as a board member of the Friendship County Fire Department, with a term ending April 9, 2020.

The monthly reports and reconcilements of May 2015 for the Health Department, Assessor’s, Sheriff’s, District Attorney’s, Treasurer’s offices, County Clerk’s cashbook and summary report, and Court Clerk’s office case balance summary report was approved.

Consideration and approval was granted on Programming Resolution, Resolution #2015-28, to grade, drain and surface, Navajo Road, SCR 210 beginning at ECR 157 and extend South, three miles to ECR 160, District 1, scheduled for construction in fiscal year 2017 and funded with County Improvements for Roads and Bridges (CIRB) Funds.

Lease agreement between Lee Office Equipment and Jackson County Assessor’s office for the Canon C2225 copier, beginning July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, was approved.

Designation of requisitioning officers for the Assessor’s office effective July 1, 2015, requisitioning officer for District 3 Drug Court and designation of receiving officers for the Assessor’s office effective July 1, 2015, was accepted and approved.

The contract between Jackson County District 3 and Danny Story for rock/clay mix removal at $.50 per cubic yard, from the NE 1/4, section 35, Township 1 South, range 24 WIM, beginning July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015, was granted approval.

Also granted approval was the contract for clay removal from the Northwest 1/4 of section 15, Township 3 North, range 19 WIM, between Bennie Doane and Jackson County District 1, at $.50 per cubic yard, effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.

Resolution #2015-29, resolution of lease agreement renewal between Jackson County Board of Commissioners and Security State Bank, County ID# D307-0065, 2013 John Deere 672G Motor Grader, effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, District 2 was approved.

The purchase contract for the purpose of purchasing a motor grader through the Oklahoma Department of Transportation County Road Machinery and Equipment Revolving Fund, fiscal year 2014-15, District 1, as well as purchase contract for the purpose of purchasing a motor grader through the Oklahoma Department of Transportation County Road Machinery and Equipment Revolving Fund, fiscal year 2014-15, District 2, were both approved.

Commissioners approved the $200 transfer of appropriations within the Court Clerk’s funds from salaries to travel.

With no new business and the approval of claims, the Jackson County Commissioner’s meeting was adjourned.
