There is still time to turn in your premium cards from Monday night and support youth in agriculture in Jackson County. Premium cards can still be submitted to the Chamber office until 3 p.m. today. Please contact us if you need any copies of the exhibitor list or if you need premium cards to fill out.
“We are so thankful for the many sponsors, volunteers, and buyers who make this event so special, and none of this would be possible without the team of volunteers from Ag Preference, Frazer Bank, NBC Oklahoma, and Stockmans Bank,” said Brian Bush, President & CEO of the Altus Chamber of Commerce. “We also want to give a special thanks to our Chamber Board members who helped serve the meal last night and to the Jackson County elected officials who helped with the sale. It was truly a special occasion.”
Monday night’s premium sale raised over $267,000 for these amazing young people. And the number is still growing as cards continue to come into the office. “Remember that because our amazing sponsors like Senator Mike Schulz, Storehouse Insurance, Frazer Bank, Jackson County Farm Bureau, and the Altus/Southwest Area Economic Development Corporation covered the costs of the livestock show, every dollar goes directly to the exhibitors,” said Bush.
“Please consider helping these young people if you can,” continued Bush. “What they learn and experience through this important program will benefit Southwest Oklahoma agriculture for years to come. If you were unable to get cards, or if you need more, we can take care of you today. Call us at the office at 482-0210, or email us. And if you still have cards to turn in, please make sure we receive them by today’s deadline so they can be included.”
