The Blair FFA chapter took a number of exhibits to this year’s state fair in Oklahoma City last week. “While most people think about FFA chapters showing animals, in reality they do so much more,” said AHS Agriculture Teacher, Shane Curry. “Which is why the chapter felt it was important to bring some other projects to show the diversity of the program.”
The students entered a meat smoker trailer (1st Place award), a hunting dog box (placed 2nd), an FFA educational Board (placed 9th), and various student-raised pumpkins and watermelons with several winners. The FFA members who worked hard to prepare and transport these projects are pictured below with their ribbons; Back Row- Sam Davenport, Gunner Garrett, Braden Block, Jacob Proveaux, Kalan Smith, Wyatt Anderson, Rhett Tripp, Nick Rohrer, Andre Solomon, Josh Dickens -Front Row- Bailee Decker, Jasmyn Davis, Lynia Alexander, McKenna Cargal.
