Arrest made after bomb materials found
State and federal law enforcement agencies converged in Altus Monday afternoon after an active duty man stationed at Altus Air Force Base made statements to individuals that he had explosive devices in his home.
According to Altus Police Chief Tim Murphy, police working with the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol bomb squad and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, executed search warrants at two different locations.
The first location was 2308 N. Park Ln. lot 130 (Camelot Trailer Park). Authorities discovered materials for making explosive devices at this location. The second location was a storage unit at 1701 Falcon Road. Materials for making explosives devises were also found at that location.
