Western graduate and Altus native, Raegan Felker, will perform for the annual Foundation and Alumni Banquet at Western Oklahoma State College, Friday, Feb. 7 in the Multipurpose Center at 6:30 p.m. The banquet honors the Foundation’s generous donors and will also recognize the 2014 Alumni Association Hall of Fame Inductee, James Johnson, Jr.
Raegan is a versatile and creative singer, guitarist and private music instructor. He has worked professionally in many settings and venues including pop, rock, country, folk, Texas country and also in church music for many years. Raegan studied music at Western Oklahoma State College and received a Bachelor’s degree in music from Oklahoma Baptist University.
Raegan entertains audiences with a blend of 70s, 80s, and 90s acoustic rock music by artists such as James Taylor, Dave Mason, Billy Joel and Steve Miller. Raegan seamlessly transitions between genres spanning decades of amazing music.
Raegan now lives in Arlington, Texas and teaches and performs in the DFW metroplex. Raegan plays lead guitar for entertainment group, Plan B and also for the up-and- coming Texas Country Music artist, Brad Good. Armed with an acoustic and electric guitar and backed by bassist, Matt Gaskins and drummer, Ryan Joyce, get ready for a musical flashback to the sounds of the 70’s.
