The Mangum Education Foundation 5K Rattlesnake Run had a great participation Saturday, April 19. The winner was Ryan Oden from Altus, shown here with the President of the Foundation, Todd McRay of Mangum. A ‘sea’ of green shirts started at 9 a.m., and the run was completed in about 45 minutes which included young and ‘older’ runners, walkers and parents pushing baby buggies. Congratulations to the FIRST 5K Rattlesnake Benefit spearheaded by Tabitha Mills, a Mangum attorney. Over $6,000 was raised for the Foundation. The oldest participant, we believe, was Judge Danny Deaver who jogged into the finish line.
