Red River has been recognized as a President’s Distinguished Club for 3 years in a row. This is the highest honor that can be achieved by a Toastmasters club. This recognition is earned by completing all educational, training, administration and membership goals as indicated in the Toastmasters International Distinguished Club Program and Club Success Plan.


To earn such prestigious recognition the club and its members achieved numerous educational goals pertaining to communications and leadership. Recently, one of the members achieved Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest recognition a member can receive. The Club Officers consistently achieved high attendance and participation at District sponsored training events, making them well trained to perform club duties in order to better serve club members and the community. Furthermore, the Red River Toastmasters club exceled with membership and retention goals, which resulted in eight new members joining the club.


The Red River Toastmasters Club has achieved success by helping its members reach their personal and professional goals. Becoming a President’s Distinguished Club is ultimately due to the efforts and diligence of all club members working together to achieve personal goals while supporting and serving others. The achievements of Red River Toastmasters club reflect the club mission to provide a supportive and positive learning experience where members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.


The Red River Toastmasters Club meets each Tuesday at the Southwest Technology Center from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to attend at any time.
