Area volunteers are getting ready to do more repairs to Imagination Station on Falcon Road, Saturday, July 19 from 7 a.m. to noon.

The City of Altus Parks Director Freddy Perez said that this will be the second phase of the ongoing community project which will focus on finishing up any major construction like replacing foundation boards and pickets for fencing. Stage 3 will focus on adding fresh paint and stage four will be for laying new mulch.

The effort began as a community partnership between the City of Altus, Wilmes Ford-Lincoln and Chevrolet, and over 30 Altus Air Force Base members who all wanted to get the park back to its original condition. The public is invited to volunteer in the effort.
