MEDICINE PARK - The 4th annual Medicine Park Art Walk, in conjunction with the Medicine Park Flute Festival, is set for Sept. 28 and 29 in Town Center.
All spaces are filled in this juried, two-day show. Fifty artists, with work including watercolor, sculpture, print-making, oil painting, paper arts, encaustic painting, photography, wood-carving, stained glass and much more. Judges’ prizes totaling $500, sponsor purchase awards and a children’s free art area are new this year.
The show is open to the public Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists’ work will be displayed on the covered porches of the scenic Old Plantation restaurant, on the surrounding paved areas and along the scenic Medicine Creek trail.

To get there: From I-44, take Exit 45 for Medicine Park/Carnegie, head west on Hwy 49 approximately six miles to the “Y” and bear right into Medicine Park proper.
