The Greer, Harmon, and Jackson County OSU Extension Offices will offer a Cotton Production and Cropping Systems meeting at the Gould Community Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m on Friday, March 28. Topics will include Cotton Variety and Production Management Topics for 2014, Cotton Herbicide Options for 2014, Insect Update and Outlook, Dryland Cotton Cropping Systems and Sesame Production. Speakers will include Dr. Randy Boman, Research Director and Cotton Extension Program Leader for the Southwest Research and Extension Center, Mr. Shane Osborne, Associate Extension Specialist for Cotton, Mr. Jerry Goodson, Extension Assistant for IPM, and Mr. Gary Strickland, Jackson County OSU Extension Agriculture Educator. A light sponsored lunch will be served at this meeting

Pre-registration is requested, but not required, by Thursday March 27 at the Greer County Extension Office, 580-482-5502, Harmon County Extension Office, 580-688-3584, or the Jackson County OSU Extension Office at 580-482-0823.
