According Western Oklahoma State College President Phil Birdine, the college will not increase tuition and mandatory fees for the 2014-15 school year. On June 10, Western’s Board of Regents approved the college’s 2014-15 budget. The 2014-15 budget reflects NO increase in tuition and fees.
“Our Board of Regents has often expressed their concern regarding the rising cost of a college education,” said Birdine. “Our Board wants to ensure that a quality college education remains affordable to the citizens of our service area. Their actions in holding down tuition and fee costs reflect their commitment to that basic philosophy.”
