A personal injury accident south of Lone Wolf Sunday sent a woman to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Judyann Parks, 63, of Lone Wolf, was driving a 2007 Dodge Caliber on CR 2090 one mile south of Lone Wolf Sunday at 12.40 p.m. when she became distracted inside the vehicle, and left the roadway. Reports state that Parks then struck a culvert and came to rest in the east ditch. She then crawled out of the vehicle before it caught fire.
Parks was later transported by Sinor EMS to Elkview Medical Center in Hobart and then transferred by Air Evac to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was admitted in stable condition with leg injuries.
Seat belts were equipped and in use, and airbags were equipped and deployed.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Lane Gossen of the Kiowa County detachment of Troop M., and was assisted by Lieutenant Richard Van Horn, Trooper Chris Sherman, Trooper Justin Garrison, Trooper Justin Wheeler, Trooper George Hoyle, the Kiowa County Sheriff’s Department, the Lone Wolf Fire Department, Sinor EMS and Air Evac.
