The Red River Valley Association will conduct a one day Regional Water Resource Conference on Thursday, Aug. 28. It will be held at the Artesian Hotel in Sulpher from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., lunch included.
Water is a precious resource and it is important to address the issues of navigation, flood control/protection, bank stabilization, water supply, water quality and the eco-system.
The general public is encouraged to attend, registration at the door is $80. Early registration is $70. Registration form and conference agenda can be found on their website: www.rrva.org
Agenda topics include wetland and water reuse, well supplements, drought impacts, and a Farm Bill update.
