After leading most of the way the Altus High Bulldogs won a thriller in overtime over Cache 61-58 here Friday night.


The Lady Bulldogs weren’t as fortunate falling to Cache 41-24.


Altus never trailed in the game until late in the fourth quarter and still led 53-50 before Dylan Jenson hit a three pointer to tie the game with three seconds left to tie it 53-53.


The game see-sawed back and forth during the four minute overtime. J.J. Ward hit a three pointer with 29 seconds left to give Altus a 61-58 lead. A last second shot by Cache that would have tied it rimmed off.


Kalyn Knight led the Bulldogs in scoring with 17 points. Hsanti McGill had 11 points while Malik Knight finished with 10 points.


Altus goes to 7-3 on the year.


The Altus High girls could not get any consistency on offense.


Carsyn King paced Altus with 11 points.


Altus drops to 4-8 on the season.


The AHS teams will travel to Clinton on Tuesday.
