“Considering we were going against schools that run track year-round, I was really pleased with
our performances,” said Coach Robert Garrison, “The only schools beating us were class 6A programs and our times were pretty good.”
The Bulldogs also had a pretty good show for themselves. The 3200 relay team of Gant Duncan,
Alan Ortiz, Giovanni Esmerado and Roberto Rodriguez finished 8th in the hurdles Ortiz placed 9th

“The boys ran some pretty good times for this time of the year and gives us a starting point from
which to go down from,” added Garrison.

finished last year so that is extremely encouraging, “ added Garrison, “Also, Hughes and Dollins times’ in
the hurdles were great considering the competition they were up against.”
