On Saturday, Aug. 2 Southwest Technology Center will host free sports physicals and drug testing for all 7th through 12th grade area athletes. All Altus students wishing to participate in sporting events during the 2014-2015 school year must complete a physical and undergo drug testing.

Athletes planning to play a sport this fall, need to attend on Saturday, Aug. 2, and go through physicals and the drug screening process. The drug testing is mandatory, even if athletes are planning to obtain private physicals. Parents or legal guardians must sign release forms before a student may be tested. Altus Schools will have forms on hand or forms may be picked up from the Altus Athletic Department at Altus High School.

Physicals will begin at 8 a.m. for bus drivers, and 9 a.m. for student athletes.

For more information please contact the Altus High School Athletic Department at 481-2648.
