The Downhome Gospel Jamboree will be held Saturday, Nov 14, at 7 pm. Featured will be Jody Miller, Grammy winner for "Queen of the House" and Gospel Music hall of fame. Jody now lives in Blanchard Ok but continues to sing at Branson as well as other venues spreading her strong christian roots. Opening the first half of the show for Jody will be Vernon's Santa Rosa Belles, 19 voices in four part harmony, who are a division of the Sweet Adelines. Local favorites, Darrel and Dorinda Sparkman will entertain during intermission and The Corinth Singers from Eldorado/Hollis Ok will open for Jody for the second half of the performance. This will be an inspiration filled evening of great Gospel Music. Come early for The Garrad's great pulled pork BBQ sandwich meal.
