Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Altus City Cemetery with Bill Osborne officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
She was born July 9, 1918, in Lawton to Frank Lockwood and Goldie (Crabb) Lockwood. She spent most of her life in Altus before moving to Amarillo, Texas in 1965. In her illness, she wanted to move closer to her brother James. She was cared for a Grace Living Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dalton Paris Lockwood and one sister, Lola Mae Palmer.
She is survived by her brother, James Lockwood of Altus; brother and sister-in-law, Milton and Lorena Lockwood of Winnsboro, Texas; and sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and L.D. Crone of Odessa, Texas; three special friends from Amarillo, Billie Martin Hayes, Norma Handley and Sue Fenton; several nieces and nephews including
