An AARP Driver Safety Program (DSP) will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1. This event will be held at the Towers, on 101 E. Commerce Street in Altus. This classroom driver’s refresher course is open to all drivers and geared to promote everyone’s safety and to address today’s driving challenges. The $14 tuition ($12 for AARP members) includes your 121-page workbook.

As a special promotion, AARP DSP is offering this course to all educators (teachers, retired educators and support personnel) for a fee of $5 to honor the service that they provide to our citizens and children.

To pre-enroll, which is recommended, please call the Altus Chamber of Commerce at 580-482-0210. Completing the class may qualify you for an insurance savings. Although the class is aimed at drivers over 55, any driver is welcome.
