The Altus High School Cheerleaders are holding their 20th annual Saturday Pep-Squeaker Camp at the High School Gym. The camp will be for students Pre-K through 6th grade. The events will begin with registration at 8:45 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 1 and you may pick up your children at 12 noon. The young cheerleaders will perform at the pre-game activities on Sept. 7, the first home football game.
Each child that attends will receive a free t-shirt, admission to the football game and three hours of cheer instruction where they will be taught a cheer, a chant and a dance. The cost is $35 and registration forms may be picked up from any AHS Cheerleader, any elementary school or the AHS Cheer Coach, Kaylee Thorubough at kthornbrough@gmail.com.
