The 7th grade boys tied with Madill for the 7th grade championship, and the 8th grade boys, competing in the 9th grade division tied with Lawton Central for third behind Yukon's freshmen and Duncan.
It was a beautiful day for track, and both teams took advantage of the good weather to post some excellent times.
The 8th grade team managed to bring home gold medals in the 3200 M relay as Nick Garrison, Nolan Cox, Clarence West, and Alejandro Lopez spun the oval in a time of 10:04.55. West also won gold in the 800 M run.
The 7th grade team members who won gold medals, were Mason Maahs in the 800 M run, and Garrett Smith in the High Jump. Next action for the Dawg's track team is March 13th at Hobart. Here are the final results:
