The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) wants to make a difference. This non-profit organization trains volunteers to speak for the best interests of theses children in court and to help find them a safe, permanent home.
Training will start Oct. 4. Every volunteer undergoes a criminal background check, a personal interview, and participates in 30 hours of training to become a child advocate.
