Blair homecoming royalty crowned

Blair School recently crowned the basketball Homecoming Queen for this year. It was an unique coronation this year because of a tie between the Junior candidate Tori Wheat and Sophomore candidate McKenna Cargal.

Senior candidate was Brittany Davenport. Brittany is the daughter of Libby and Ken Williams. She is a member of BETA, Student Council and is on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll. Her escort was Kade Forster who is the son of Scott and Tiffany Forster.
Junior candidate was Tori Wheat. Tori is the daughter of Tracy and Gary King. She is a member of BETA, Student Council, Yearbook and is a cheerleader. Her escort was Clay Davis. Clay is the son of Mitch and Stacey Davis.
Sophomore candidate was McKenna Cargal. She is the daughter of Jud and Dawn Cargal. McKenna is a member of the softball team and FFA. She is on the livestock judging and show teams. Her escort was Gunner Garrett. His parents are Todd and Danielle Willis.
The Freshman candidate was Kendalyn Shaw. She is involved in both softball and basketball. Kendalyn is on the principal’s honor roll and is class president. Kendalyn’s parents are Lyle Shaw and Dusti Ellison. She was escorted by Wyatt Anderson who is the son of Josh and Teri Anderson.
Miniature escorts for the event were Abigail Penn, Casyn Davis, Kace Angelly and Coltin Downing. Abigail’s parents are Bryan and Andrea Penn, Casyn’s parents are Mitch and Stacey Davis. Stephanie and Melvin Angelly are Kace’s parents and Coltin’s parents are Matt and Amanda Downing. Also pictured is Chasity Skelton last years Homecoming Queen.
