The Altus Municipal Authority (AMA) and the City Council are operating in today’s meeting under amended agendas.
In the AMA, another piece of real property owned by the AMA will be discussed for non-agricultural use. That will make the number of these properties five, not four as formerly stated.
In the City Council amended agenda, an item, 6.5 has been added. It states: “Consider, discuss and vote whether to keep the current method of euthanasia of animals by the use of the CO (carbon monoxide) chamber at the Altus Animal Shelter or to change to euthanasia of animals by using the injection method.”
The meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the City Complex.
