If you are planning to enter items in this year’s Jackson County Free Fair, you only have a few days left to do it. The fair will be be held next weekend in Altus.

There will also be lots of activities at the upcoming Fair including a tractor driving contest, turtle races, talent shows, games for the kids, Kevin Law’s Border Collie Demonstrations, karate demonstrations, a baby contest, pet show and more. (see page 8A of today’s edition for more details).

If you need a copy of this year’s Complete Fair Tab and Schedule of events come by the OSU Extension Office located on the north side of the WOSC campus or go to our web-site at oces.okstate.edu/Jackson/. Also, don’t forget the fabulous 4-H Food Booth. They will be serving an assortment of great meals and treats at the Fair. So make sure and go by and sample the food!

This year’s fair theme is “It’s Cheaper Than Dirt.” Events will be held at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.
