According the Jackson County Election Board, no races developed for school board seats by the close of the filing period on Wednesday.
Although other area districts will have elections in February, Jackson County will not.
In Jackson County, incumbents filing were John Thomas in Altus; Dusty Tutten in Blair; Roger Herron in Duke; Kevin Hill in Eldorado; Jackie Kenmore for the Office No. 3, three-year term in Eldorado; John D. Butchee in Navajo; Don Moody in Olustee; and Jeff Mark Nichols, Southwest Technology Center, Zone 1.
In Greer County, Charles Callins and Michelle Huckabay in Mangum; in Granite, those filing were Shannon Carter, Johnny Wilson, Betty Ann Kelly, Neal Hall and Deanna Perry.
In Harmon County, Heath Beanland and Marty Moore filed in Hollis, with Scott Horton filing for the Office No. 2 two-year term in Hollis.
Those filing in Kiowa County include, Jeff Phillips and Brenda Krieger filing in Hobart; and Sarah Schreiner and Shanda D. Fesmire filing in Lone Wolf.
In Tillman County, those filing include James Heap and Lana S. Fry in Frederick; and Jerry Stoll in Tipton. Those filing in Davidson include Lisa Inscore, and for the Office No. 3 three-year term was Gabriella Minor; the Office No. 4 four-year term by Billie Dee Hill; and Homer Ryan filed for the Great Plains Technology Center Zone 1 seat. No one filed for the Great Plains Technology Center Zone 4 seat.
