Burial services for James (Jimmy) Marshall Milton Hamilton Jr. were held Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at 2 p.m., in Altus at Rest Lawn Cemetery.

Jimmy was the son of the late Marshall Hamilton and Rosa P. (Sanders) Hamilton, who was unable to attend. She resides in a rest home in the Dallas, Texas area.

Jimmy was a popular Altus High School basketball player and had many lifelong friends. A funeral service was held at Spark-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas on Sunday, Nov. 23.

Survivors include his wife, Lydia; two step-sons and three step-grandchildren, all of Dallas; one aunt, Helen Green of Abilene, Texas; cousins include, Donal Turner of Lubbock, Texas, Joye and George Black of Altus, Ronald and Pam Heckenkamp of Oklahoma City, Robert and Beverly Heckenkamp of Allen, Texas, Larry and Lisa McGuffin of Edmond, Roy Green Jr. of Abilene, Texas, Cheryl and Stan Clarke of Edmond; and numerous other second cousins, relatives and wonderful friends in Altus and Martha.
