Hollis couple pleads guilty to embezzlement

Hollis couple Michael and Lori Edmonds pled guilty in Harmon County District Court Tuesday on embezzlement charges.

According to reports, the couple took nearly $120,000 from the Hollis Cotton Oil Mill where she was the head bookkeeper and he was a truck driver.

The couple were sentenced to 10 years in custody with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections with one year suspended for felon embezzlement.

They were also given a 20-year suspended sentence to run consecutively on related conspiracy charges. They were also ordered to pay $60,000 each in restitution.

Neither received credit for time already served.
