Carolyn Kay Wright Holt, 59, of Eldorado, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at her home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Eldorado Cemetery with Chaplain Erin Martinez officiating. Burial is under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born on Feb. 8, 1953 in Quanah, Texas, to Odis Ovie and Martha Betty Lavell ( Lambert) Wright. She married Robert Lee Holt, Sr. in 1978 in Quanah. She loved to read books, babysit, walk and listen to music.

She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Betty C. Doyal; her grandparents; aunts; uncles and many cousins.

Survivors include her husband, Robert, of the home; her mother, Betty Lavell Wright of Eldorado; a stepson, Robert Lee Holt, Jr. of Sweetwater, Texas; two sisters, Doris Darlene Gilbert of Lawn, Texas, and Dorothy Farene Wright of Eldorado; and three brothers, Darrell Gene Wright of Tuscola, Texas, Harrell Ray Wright of Hollis, and Michael Dean Wright of Clyde, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson County Memorial Hospital Hospice.
