Karlee McCombs, of Navajo 4-H, is shown this morning at the Jackson County Expo Center.
Those youngsters participating in the Altus Chamber of Commerce-sponsored annual event showed up this morning with a variety of animals in preparation for the show that culminates Monday with a premium auction. Weigh-ins of meat goats, sheep, swine and beef exhibits were held today, as well as judging of ewes, market lambs and meat goats. On Saturday, gilts and burrows will be judged, and heifers and steers will be judged on Sunday. A livestock judging contest will be held Monday. Look for results and photos from the premium auction next week in the Altus Times.
