ALLEN - After nearly two months away from the racetrack, Brandon Kinzer and his No. 18 Dirt Late Model team rolled into the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on September 21-22 for the 33rd edition of the Jackson 100. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the two-day affair and 40 competitors piled into the pit area at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds complex to vie for the $20,000 top prize.

In qualifying on Friday night, Kinzer debuted a new Rocket Chassis and timed in 15th fastest in his group. When the action really heated up on Saturday evening, Kinzer finished 10th in his loaded heat race and ninth in his B-Main. The Allen native, however, was unable to transfer into the 100-lap feature event.

Kinzer is scheduled to compete at Talladega (Ala.) Short Track Oct. 5-6. On Saturday, Oct. 6, Kinzer will compete in the $3,500-to-win Southern All-Stars (SAS) feature at the Alabama track.
